It can be said that the desire to take a different form is deep within the very bones of humanity. This is especially prevalent in AlterHumans. Characterized by the idea that one could shapeshift into a form other than human in the real world, it unfortunately is on our list of debunked terms.
Why Is This Debunked?
It has been proven time and time again that no matter who you are, humans cannot shapeshift. It doesn't matter how hard you try. You are, unfortunately, trapped in your fleshy human vessel when in the real world. There is, however, a condition linked to believing too strongly that you can - and have - shifted your form, typically known as Clinical Therianthropy.
