Species Dysphoria / Species Euphoria

Oftentimes, Dysphoria and Euphoria are heard solely in the trans community. But did you know that these terms can refer to certain feelings in the Alterhumanity community as well?

Species Dysphoria

Species dysphoria is a feeling of discomfort, unhappiness, or distress due to the presence of human characteristics, and the lack of characteristics belonging to one's AlterHuman identity.

Species Euphoria

Species euphoria is a feeling of well-being or elation due to the presence of features typically belonging to one's AlterHuman identity. An AlterHuman may experience species euphoria when wearing a tail or ears, or a mask depicting their AlterHuman identity.
