Inspired by the Werewolves of media, Were describes the status of one as half-human, half-other. This terms is less commonly seen nowadays, but was once synonymous with Therianthrope and OtherKin. It tends to only be used by Alterhumans who have been 'Awake' for a lengthy period of time.
